Fees

How much does this service cost? 

While we would love to say with certainty it costs $__/meal… that is not how this type of service can be calculated.  Personalized chef services are truly dependent on the menu, the number of people we are cooking for, and what the cost of goods are at the time.  Therefore, we charge an hourly rate for our time, plus the costs of goods.  

HOW MY CROFT KITCHEN’S TIME IS BILLED:

  • NEW CLIENT INTERVIEW: $100

    • This is a one-time fee, in which $50 will be credited towards the next 2 services in $25 increments.

    • During this meeting, we will discuss dietary preferences and restrictions, nutrition goals, favorite cuisines, dishes to avoid, grocery store preferences, farm preferences etc. This is also the time when we will review your kitchen to determine what items are available, what items we will need to bring (dependent on the meals), and whether or not you have sufficient containers available for us to package meals ready to heat… plus anything else we can think of that needs clarification. This meeting is essential for us to be able to create meals that are truly tailored to your specific tastes.

  • MENU PLANNING & CLIENT COMMUNICATION: $50/hour

    • Clients will be billed at this rate while we recipe research and develop a menu specific to their needs. This menu will be emailed to the client for approval and modifications will be made, if requested, prior to the date of service.

  • SHOPPING, COOKING, & TRAVEL: $70/hour

    • Clients will be billed at this rate while we shop at the markets & stores of their choice, travel to their home, cook, clean, package, and label the meals. (3 hour minimum)

PAYMENT: 

My Croft Kitchen currently accepts payment online or via cash, check, or PayPal.  

  • ADDITIONAL COSTS (if applicable):

    • PayPal Payments will be charged a 5% merchant fee

    • All other Online Payments will be charged a 3% merchant fee

    • Returned Checks will be charged a $25 penalty

    • Cancellation of Scheduled Services WITHOUT A 24 HOUR ADVANCED NOTICE will incur the 3 hour minimum service fee + the cost of goods already purchased (if applicable).
